Hi! I’m Salsabila

A future educator

I am a future educator, a passionate communicator, and a continuously growing leader. Currently, I am pursuing my studies at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, majoring in Physics Education. My journey has been shaped by teaching experiences, public relations, and leadership in various organizations, allowing me to develop strong communication, event management, and organizational skills.

As a SEA-Teacher delegate in Thailand, I gained valuable international teaching experience, enhancing my adaptability and broadening my perspective on global education, cross-cultural communication, and pedagogical expertise. Immersing myself in a new educational environment challenged me to refine my teaching strategies, foster student engagement, and implement creative learning methods tailored to diverse student needs. I had the opportunity to collaborate with local educators, exchange ideas on effective teaching approaches, and witness firsthand how different educational systems operate. These experiences not only enriched my teaching methodology but also deepened my appreciation for cultural diversity in education.

This is a great space to write a long reflection on my teaching practice experience in Thailand. Throughout my journey, I navigated language barriers, adapted to different classroom dynamics, and embraced new perspectives on student-centered learning. Observing how Thai students interacted with lessons and incorporating engaging physics experiments into my teaching reinforced my belief in the power of interactive learning. Moreover, the experience allowed me to develop resilience, patience, and cultural sensitivity—qualities that are essential for any educator in a globalized world.

Beyond academics, I have a strong passion for public speaking and communication management, which I have cultivated through various educational projects and student organizations. With this combination of skills, I believe that education is not just about transferring knowledge but also about inspiring, building connections, and creating meaningful change. My time in Thailand further solidified this belief, as I witnessed how education serves as a bridge that connects people across cultures, fostering mutual understanding and lifelong learning.
