Pre-Departure and Send-Off for SEA-Teacher Delegates 2025

On Friday, January 10, 2025, a preparatory meeting was held at the DIA UPI office. The meeting began with an introduction between DIA representatives and the student delegates. The primary purpose of this session was to provide a general overview of the upcoming SEA-Teacher program. Additionally, the discussion covered the schedule for preparatory training from DIA, final activity arrangements, and the university’s official send-off schedule. The meeting concluded with a group photo session.

The official send-off for the UPI student delegates took place on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the Partere Meeting Room at UPI. The event was attended by six UPI student delegates, their respective program heads, DIA representatives, and organizing committee members. The ceremony was officially opened by Vice Rector I, Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, M.A. It began with an introduction of the student delegates and their partner universities, followed by the formal send-off ceremony, during which Vice Rector I delivered his guidance and advice. Additionally, faculty deans or program heads shared their messages with the students. The event concluded with a group photo session.

As part of the academic preparation, the student delegates received training sessions organized by DIA UPI. On Thursday, January 23, 2025, they participated in a TPACK session led by Mr. Arif Hidayat, S.Pd., M.Si., Ph.D., Edu., Head of the Division of International Partnership and University Rankings, along with Mrs. Heri P. D. Setiyorini, M.M., Ph.D., Head of the Division of International Program Development, Directorate of International Affairs UPI.

On Thursday, January 23, 2025, the delegates attended a Pre-Departure Meeting with Khon Kaen University via Zoom. The session began with a welcoming speech by Assoc. Prof. Nattapon Meekaew, followed by a short introductory video about the university and its Faculty of Education. The agenda included discussions on the tentative program, pre-departure preparation, advisor self-introductions, and SEA-Teacher student self-introductions. A Q&A session provided an opportunity for participants to seek clarification before the meeting concluded with a group photo session.

The following day, Friday, January 24, 2025, the training continued with a session on Curriculum Insights, once again delivered by Mr. Arif Hidayat, S.Pd., M.Si., Ph.D., Edu. This session aimed to provide a deeper understanding of the curriculum framework that would be implemented in the SEA-Teacher program.
