Curriculum

This school offers two physics programs:

  • General Physics for the Mathematics and Science Program. The Science-Mathematics Program consists of three classes, grouped based on students' average grades.

  • Applied Physics for the SEMP and SciUS programs. These programs have only one class, with a highly selective admission process, ensuring that students have a uniform level of understanding.

The physics curriculum follows Thailand’s national curriculum with some adjustments. The subject is divided into General Physics for the Mathematics and Science Program and Applied Physics for the SEMP and SciUS programs.

Physics is taught through three fundamental courses, covering different topics each year:

  • Mathayom 4 (Grade 10): Mechanics

  • Mathayom 5 (Grade 11): Energy and Electricity

  • Mathayom 6 (Grade 12): Atomic Physics, Nuclear Physics, Modern Physics, and Thermodynamics

The school updates its curriculum every four years based on students' needs and scientific advancements, focusing on developing future skills while using the national curriculum as a foundation. Assessments include school exams, national exams, and student learning outcomes.

In addition to classroom learning, the school collaborates with Khon Kaen University for advanced laboratory activities. Students participate in experiments similar to those conducted by first-year university students, providing them with hands-on experience in higher-level physics studies.
